LEGNO DI VAIA is a unique covering solution, characterized by the wood recovery and its ennoblement until it gets suitable for architectural technical covering.

The heat treatment process is made by subjecting the recovered wood to high temperatures up to a maximum of 212°C in an oxygen-free controlled atmosphere, without using chemicals. This treatment changes the wood, altering the physical and mechanical properties: the improved dimensional stability and the reduced reactivity to water make it optimal for outdoor.

The treated wood takes on a warm and intense coloring and a great stability, reducing the possibility of the essence undergoing shrinkage and swelling or cracking. The durability characteristics are better, making it suitable to withstand any climate.
